Dr. Scott A. Weiss, Co-Founder and Director of Rehabilitation Services at both Bodhizone & Arista Physical Therapy & Wellness, PLLC in NYC has had the pleasure and good fortune to represent TEAM USA through the United States Olympic Committee’s (USOC) Sports Medicine program. For almost two decades Dr. Weiss has provided physical therapy, strength and conditioning and sports medicine services at 3 Olympic, 2 Pan American and 1 World University Games. Dr. Weiss was has traveled the globe with athletics and has helped over hundreds of athletes attain Olympic medals, world cup and national championships as well as international titles in several sports. Some sports are sailing, fencing, triathlon, wrestling, weightlifting just to name a few. This summer he will not be in RIO at the XXXI st Olympiad but Dr. Weiss will be working at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs helping prepare our Para-Olympians for their chance on the worlds stage.
Besides his Olympic background and almost making the 1988 Olympic Games as a Tae kwon Do athlete, Dr. Weiss knows the commitment and the singular focus needed to become a world class athlete. His academic degrees in exercise physiology, physical therapy and athletic training afford him the ability to work with the best athletes in the world as well as performing artists, circus performers and celebrities from every walk of life!
